Today i took my very first lush bath, now don't get me wrong i am no lush virgin i just have a problem using things with the fear of them being gone. So after a long time staring (and smelling) all of my bath boms and bubble bars i decided on the Twilight bath bom.
I always light a candle with my baths so i picked dark kiss from bath and body works, i felt like the scents would complement each other nicely.
After cleaning the tub ( a pre bath ritual ) i filled it with scolding hot water, jumped right in and dropped in the bath bom. It not only smelled heavenly but i was shocked at how soft it made my bath water not to mention my skin. Twilight was suppose to start of pink then turn blue and finally purple. Mine started off a light pink and got darker until i could describe it as purple, but this did not disappoint me in the slightest. i was surprised at how long the bath bom lasted i expected it to fizz and be gone right away but it lasted well into my water getting cold, i have to confess i even started breaking off chunks to play with. Once finished i used airbons fyi lotion in mysterious. All three scents (bath bom, candle, and lotion) i would describe as warm, fruity, and girlie none of which were overpowering even when combined together. Needless to say my very first lush bath was a huge success and i will never again let my fear keep me from lovely baths. now that i am wonderfully relaxed i think i will take a nap and continue to enjoy the lasting sent of my bath.
