Bones season finale's (Spoilers)

Bones is arguably my all time favorite television show, there are others that i don't think i could give up very easily but this one takes the cake. This weeks murder of choice was about a hoarder which although it is a very popular disorder at the present time I still quite enjoyed Hart's take on it. It was fun to watch the reactions of each individual personality, and the conflict between treasure and junk. This episode also centered around changes, and the characters struggle between wanting to be in different places at once, and wether new opportunities are worth the relationships you have to give up ( even if only temporarily ). Blah Blah Blah ... lots about the dead hoarder (although this helps move the show along the murders each week are not why we tune in, the relationships between the characters is what keeps us coming back for more). Throughout the episode Booth struggles with the idea of going back to iraq and even though I understand that Hart wanted everybody to go their separate ways for a year hopefully to grow and learn how much they really need each other, I was still surprised that he actually decided to go. Even with the heart to heart in the car with Parker it still seemed out of character to me that booth would leave his son for a whole year, especially when he so rarely gets to see him as is. (Can we take a moment to comment on how adorable that kid is who plays Parker I just want steal him and claim him as my own). Bones's decision to leave however seemed very fitting to her character, she has become more of a person in the past five years and that scares her she probably needs some time to immerse herself in her work and find herself again. Hopefully this time away from booth will make her realize how much she loves/ needs him. I am so glad Angela and Hoggins are finally together, although i was a little disappointed in how laid back their entire marriage was. but never the less i am thrilled that they are together and Paris should be a wonderful (although epicly long) honeymoon. Which leaves poor Cam all alone at the Jeffersonian what is she going to do, i wish there was more character building on her, I get really excited whenever Michelle is in an episode because as i tell my roommate every week i feel like she is the most underdeveloped character and at least she has Michelle. Sometimes I think we know more about the countless number of interns than we do about Cam. Speaking of interns can we get rid of a bunch of them now ... its time the fist to go should be Daisy i cannot believe that she is going with Bones. Thanks for ending her relationship with Sweets now that she has no ties to the group anymore hopefully she will just stay in Maluku when bones comes back in a year. Then there was that look ... the look that said it all. As much as i wanted them to run back to each other and have an epic kiss that would go down in history as best kiss caught on film i am glad that they didn't. Their kisses have not gone well in the past and it would not have stopped them from leaving anyway. They both seem to need this time apart. Hopefully when they come back they will BOTH be ready to love each other. Needless to say how ever the next season starts off i have complete faith that Hart will do it better than anything i could ever dream up.

Katharine McPhee Unbroken cd review

I originally got the Katharine McPhee cd Unbroken because i love the Kara Dioguardi song Terrified. Since i had the whole cd i had to give it all listen. I was pleasantly surprised at how much i ended up liking the album. She may not have the best vocals i have ever heard but the album is well written, the songs are well placed, and McPhee executes the songs well enough.

1. It's Not Right ~ This song is a great way to start the album. Its upbeat, catchy, and draws your attention enough to continue listening to the cd.

2. Had It All ~ This song was written by Kara Dioguardi so i was bound to like it. With that said there are songs (even ones not written by Kara) that i like better then this one.

3. Keep Drivin' ~ This song is one of the slower one on the album. To me it's fine, nothing special to write home about but at the same time i don't usually go out of my way to skip it when it comes up in my ipod rotation. It is however probably one of my least favorites on the cd.

4. Last Letter ~ At first i didn't really have a lot to say about this song but this is one of those that grew on me the more times that i listened to it. It's a typical girl scorned getting the bad feelings out song, something we can all relate to.

5. Surrender ~ Another one of the slower more balladish song but i like this one much better then Keep Drivin'. This one feel like it has more passion and meaning behind it. It swells nicely near the end and has a bit of a repetitive but comfortable conclusion.

6. Terrified ~ I love this song. There isn't much more to say. This song is the whole reason why i got this cd in the first place. It's already made it's way onto two of my playlists and if im going to listen to the whole cd i usually make a point to listen to this song at least twice. Katharine did a great job, but this is the first of Kara's songs that i have really been upset that she didnt sing her own songs.

7. How ~ I really like this song. its starts of slow and then starts to swell after about a minute. Again (like so many others) parts of it can get a bit repetitive but the lyrics, and music are very catchy, i find myself singing along (which gets a little embarrassing at work)

8. Say Goodbye ~ Probably the slowest song on the album, to me its a little boring. Its not that it isnt written, or sung well its just slow. I need my ballads to have enough passion behind them to keep me interested.

9. Faultline ~ I love this song. this song is my favorite one other the Terrified. I didn't notice it much the first few times that i listened to the cd, but the more i started catching onto the words, the more i liked this song. Not only do i find myself singing along to this song but i often find myself dropping everything i am doing and get really into it. (suuuper embarrassing at work). This is a good example of a ballad with passion.
10. Anybody's Heart ~ One of my least favorite, i just cant get into the lyrics and not a whole lot about the melody draws me in enough to get over the fact that im not passionate about the lyrics. It feels like she is trying to sing what would be better as a personal journal entry or a poem.

11. Lifetime ~ This song is catchy, very upbeat, and fun. The lyrics in this song are sort of "inspirational" (i wont hold it against the writer) i like this song, i am kind of at a loss for what else to say about it.

12. Unbroken ~ Another ballad and one of the better ones, not my favorite, but i dont dislike it and surly wouldn't ever skip it. Its a little bit on the slower more boring end of ballads but its still good. * side note i really like that the album is titled unbroken just because i think its cool, but i wish that the title song was one of my favorites (at least its not one of my least favorites)

13. Brand New Key ~ My least favorite song by a long shot, its nice that its the last song on the album because then i can just shut it off after unbroken. I actually sort of liked this song the first couple times i heard it but it's so catchy that it quickly got so stuck in my head that i began to despise it. I also started to like it less and less the more i started to learn the lyrics.

Well there ya go, thats my review on the Kathrarine McPhee album Unbroken. In conclusion i am pleased that i have this entire album and it is a shame that Katharine came in second place under Taylor Hicks on American Idol.
